F1 CITY SHOCK

F1 CITY SHOCK을 다녀왔다.
자동차에 그리 관심이 많진 않지만 그래도 F1을 우리나라에 유치했고 이를 기념하기 위해 시내 도심에서 F1 Fomula Machine을 시범 주행을 한다고 하니 그냥 지나칠 수 없었다.
더구나 내가 좋아하는 자동차 메이커인 BMW Sauber F1 Team이 시범 주행을 한다는데..

일찌감치 가서 자리를 죽치고 있을 만큼 열성적이진 않았지만 예정 시작 시각보단 일찍 도착했다. ㅎㅎ
워낙 유동인구가 많은 코엑스 앞이라 자동차에 별 관심이 없어 보이는 사람들이 많이 자리를 지키고 있었지만 그래도 쇼를 감상하기에 충분할 만큼 곳곳에 멀티비전을 설치해서 괜찮았다.
안전요원들이 충분히 곳곳에 배치해 있어 관람객 통제도 잘 되었고.. 뭐.. 하긴 코엑스 앞 거리가 넓으니깐..
다만 이미 펜스에는 사람들이 자리잡고 있어 사진을 찍을 만한 공간이 안나온 게 흠이다. ㅠㅠ

식전행사로 국내 CJ Race Car들의 시범 주행이 있었고 크라잉넛, SG워너비 등의 축하공연도 있었다.

이후 본 행사에 해당하는 BMW Sauber F1 Team 소개가 있었는데 주장인 Nick Heidfeld 소개와 간단한 인터뷰가 있었고 이어 시범 주행이 시작됐다. (M3를 타고 007처럼 멋지게 입장했는데 스핀턴이 환상적이더군..)
 
Machine의 배기음은 TV에서 듣던 것보단 훨씬 더 고음의 앙칼진 소리가 나는데 람보르기니나 페라리보단 훨씬 경쾌한 느낌이다.
근데 시범 주행도중 4~5번 정도 엔진을 꺼먹던데 아마 세팅이 제대로 안된 듯 하다.
설마 세계 5위권의 F1 Driver가 실수로 꺼먹었을까.. ㅎㅎ

대략 20분 정도 시범 주행이 끝나고 행사는 막을 내렸다.

BMW Sauber F1 Team이 온다고 해서 이들을 가까이서 볼 기회가 과연 앞으로 얼마나 올까 싶어 무거운 카메라 장비를 동원했지만 인파들에 묻혀 제대로 찍을 수 없었다. 그냥 CanU로 찍을 걸.. ㅠㅠ

사실 모델촬영회를 포기하고 갔는데 그래도 가길 잘 했다는 생각이다. ^^*



P.S. 근데 BMW는 왜 내게 VIP 초대권을 안줬냔.. ㅠㅠ

'F1 Driver들이 체구가 작은 편인데 한영씨가 농담으로 키 큰 여자 어떠냐고 묻자 많이 주변에 키 큰 여자들이 많아 새삼스럽지 않다고 받아쳤다. ㅎㅎ'
